| Rated 3.5 out of 5: Over View: My stay at this hotel was a good one the staff were friendly and courteous. I arrived late in the night therefore did not get to sample the food. The room was clean and warm, the bathroom was nicely tiled but maintenance missed the toilet seat which had come off the pan. I did not complain I kindly refit the seat before leaving the following morning. To be fair I can only give a partial review because I did not stay long enough to experience other service provision not even having breakfast. A red Lion Lodge Hotel guest rated the hotel 4.6 out of 5 and said: Excellent value for the price! The room was spacious and clean, the staff helpful and courteous. The hotel is very centrally located, and it only took about fifteen minutes door to door to get to the check in desk at Luton airport. All in all, it was a very positive experience. Overall: I highly recommend this hotel if you are interested in an accommodation for an early departure from Luton airport. The hotel is located only fifteen minutes from Luton airport, and the staff was kind enough to arrange a 5:00 AM cab pickup for us. The online booking process was easy and accurate, and the hotel itself was very clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly, and we had an excellent night's sleep. The only downside is the town of Luton itself, which is not really picturesque, nor does it offer very much for the vacationer. As an accommodation, however, I highly recommend Brookes' Red Lion Lodge Hotel. |
