| Rated 4 out of 5 : The room I booked was a single room but a member of the staff upgraded to a double room with no extra charge at the check in. That was excellent! All of the cooking equipments in the room are electric cooker, fridge, microwave, electric jug kettle, knives, spoons, forks, plates, glass cups and mag cups. They were all good working. Bathroom was clean. Bed mattress was comfortable. You can get free Wi-Fi network in the room. feel a bit expensive for a telephone charge of the room. Rated 4.5 out of 5 : Prompt check in at 2pm. A handy five minute walk from Paddington and Lancaster Gate tube on the Central line. Quite spacious dining /sitting area, comfortable bed. Kitchen has 2 ring hob, kettle , toaster and microwave; all you need for breakfast or a quick meal. On the way from Paddington there are small shops with basics or take-away restaurants. Water scalding hot-take care-could do with a mixer tap or limiter on temperature. General appearance of carpet and table suggest refurbishment could be undertaken in near future. Given the price-a fair deal. Rated 4 out of 5 : We, with some apprehension, booked via the net and found the Royal Court website to be accurate. Our kitchenette apartment (#60) was a refurbished unit that provided us with a comfortable and convenient base to explore London. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the short walk to Paddington Station provided transportation on the tube, the buses, and the trains. A very convenient location for Heathrow with its direct connection to Paddington. We had a good stay and were very satisfied with the Royal Court. |

| Rating out of 10: 3 Date stayed: November 2005 review: the web photos, which make the place look shiny and new, are nothing like the reality. room was filled with old furniture and stained carpeting, but at least smelled like cleanser. i could have lived with this if it hadnt been for the bedbug infestation and the mice. the staff was exceedingly helpful and kind, except for the manager who promised us we would be reimbursed our last few days, as well as for our stay at another hotel up the street--we have not yet heard from them, a month after our stay! |
