| Rated 4 out of 5 : I only stayed for a night to catch a plane in the morning. The hotel is conveniently located for Heathrow terminal 5. Check-in was very friendly and the lady even spoke perfect German. There is everything in the room you need, it is clean, the colour scheme is quite nice and the bed is comfy. The free use of internet terminals for 45 minutes is a nice feature. Check-out was efficient and quick. Rated 4 out of 5 : I booked this hotel so that we were close to the Heathrow airport and catch a early morning flight - got very good rates when I booked through the Internet. It is a typical 4 star that serves well for the purpose of an overnight stay when you need to get to the airport. It falls in the zone where there is free bus facility to the airport. Rated 4 out of 5 : My usual hotels were not available so booked the Sheraton at Heathrow through your company, good quality room, staff and meal could stay there again and recommend. Rated 4 out of 5 : Small but nicely equipped room. Excellent check-in staff, gym with top range equipment, free to all guests. Great location for T5, bus 350 is free and frequent, just one stop. Warning: refuse any room numbered 24xx as the Club Lounge is above with a hardwood floor. Noise of furniture moving and footsteps will wake you at 0600 and keep you awake.. |

| Rating out of 10: 2 Date stayed: September 2005 review: My new wife and I decided to start our honeymoon in comfort by driving down a day before our flight and taking advantage of the Heathrow Sheraton s one night stay and car parking for up to 15 nights offer. This is proving to be one of the worst mistakes we have ever made. Arriving early evening having parked our car we were checked in surrounded by building works, the floors were being dug up and the entrance did not operate to then be told we had to move our car to a side car park, after an average nights stay with clean but minimal services we flew off on honeymoon and enjoyed a lovely 10 days away, however this is where the problems started. On our return we discovered our new car had been broken into, the door destroyed and the window smashed. The car had then been left for 4 days in the rain ruining the interior. We sought the assistance of the staff and were told We are very sorry but it is not our problem, you can drive it home The car was soaked through inside, covered in glass with substantial damage to the electrics, our drive was well over an hour long at night and it was still raining, we were both by now close to tears. During a two hour wait for relay we were not offered any help, not even a coffee and not a sniff of compensation thus far, we paid for a service and got nothing, we were actually told to park away from the cameras! And the customer service was the worst my wife and I have ever witnessed. Never would I return to this hotel. Rating out of 10: 1 Date stayed: December 2004 review: My girlfriend and I stayed here after a trip to Sri Lanka and The Maldives in late 2004. It was terrible. We were badly jet-lagged so not in best spirits anyway. We got to our room to find a 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the door. The bed had a note saying that the bedding had not been changed at our request (?) and one of the sheets was ripped. Due to being so tired we checked that the sheets were clean at least (they appeared to be) then crashed out. We left the following morning at 6:50am. Cannot recommend this place at all. There are reasonable rate 'taverns' up and down this stretch that are much better quality! |
