| Rated 5 out of 5: This hotel is perfect for an early morning flight as it is so close to just pop up to departures. It is not cheap but of course you pay for this location. The standard of the room is very good. There is a bath and a separate shower which is nice after travelling. The room is incredibly quiet for such a busy location. The beds were wonderfully comfortable with beautiful linen and pillows. The staff were very friendly at reception. We had dinner in the Roux restaurant. Whilst there wasn't anything to fault it wasn't the most tasty meal and the staff were formal but not totally on the ball. Considering the price I would expect more from a restaurant. I think it caters to the business person who is just going to put the bill on expenses and is more concerned with talking to clients. I would stay here again but next time would go to a restaurant at Heathrow departures. Rated 4.5 out of 5: Service and attention is un matched, food quality at times was of concern and availability of a good coffee was questionable otherwise brilliant service 9/10 Rated 5 out of 5: We loved the hotel - we were upgraded and could do all our e mails in the lounge to get them out of the way before our holiday. The bedroom was very, very comfortable with a wonderful bathroom and l`occitane toiletries - what more could one ask for. The food was fantastic in the French restaurant- a bit pricey but excellent - I had sea bass. You could also walk over to terminal 5 and print your boarding passes which made the early start the next day not as bad. A Sofitel Heathrow guest gave the hotel 5 out of 5 and explained: This is my 3rd stay in as many months with my wife and one year old son and it was outstanding again! The service, rooms, food, everything was excellent. This hotel continues to deliver and is consistently great. The staff here go out of their way to make you welcome and remember your name which is very nice. The beds are extremely comfortable and the inside room view is very cosy. Rooms are spacious and very modern Safety wise it is excellent, you cannot use the lift unless you have a room key. Plenty of parking at £15 per night for residents. Bathroom and shower is nice with a plasma in the bathroom. And no noise from aircraft, this hotel is very well insulated. Restaurant staff are brilliant and the food quality is top. A new hotel and it just oozes class and very modern. I cannot fault anything and look forward to further stays Thank you Sofitel and well done on being consistently good A hotel guest rated the stay as 5 out of 5: We stayed at this for 3 nights 23rd until 26th Dec, it was very handy for visiting family in and around local areas, we drove over from Switzerland and required a very secure parking for our car ,since we would be shopping at the start of the sales and also over the Christmas shopping period, so the car park a great set up with number plate recognition when using the facilities (except it could not manage to keep memory of our Swiss Licence plates may be because the letters are smaller than UK ones??, but only advantage is no messing around to pay for many parking tickets. The room service is to a good standard, but we found that the breakfast dining in our room far better than the buffet breakfast but at the end of the day it comes from the same source?? we were a little disappointed to find out that the Spa was not open when we tried to investigate it for usage (Why?) and that the hotel restaurants were closed over the Christmas period, obviously it seem to us that the hotel must be making enough money, which is sad since we did not a get chance to try out the real cuisine in this place. |
