Rarely am I so impressed?.. I stayed at The ST James for a weekend, to spend some quality time with my family in the smoke ? I was so impressed I was torn to leave the hotel, so I brought them to me for a delicious champagne afternoon tea instead! The room was stunningly designed with every attention to detail thought through, the best bed and the most beautiful linen I have ever experienced?..heaven. And, added bonus of complimentary wireless throughout the entire stay, great value. The bar & bistro had a great feel too, just the right ambience for all my family of all age groups and both the breakfast and the afternoon tea I sampled were delicious, compliments to the chef! A true gem of a hotel in one of the best locations in London. The staff are gracious, unpretentious and extremely helpful and I shall definitely be recommending this hotel to all my friends and colleagues to stay at next time they are in London. I will be back too!

Wow! This hotel is amazing! If you want to treat yourself or someone to a luxurious accomodation setting whilst receiving excellent customer service, then St James's Hotel and Club is one that will exceed these requirements! Location - Very near to Green Park underground station, whilst Buckingham Palace and St James's Park are also within walking distance. Staff - Extremely helpful and friendly. In particular, they made my birthday celebrations a real pleasure - especially when I discovered that my room had a balcony! Room - Good sized bed but too comfortable (did not want to get up out of it!). Bathroom was excellent, especially the shower! When we came back from watching Les Miserables in the evening, we discovered that the hotel maid had tided up our room. This I was very impressed with! Breakfast - Cooked to perfection...and the coffee was incredible! Next time I visit London, I am definately going to save up my pennies and stay at St James's Hotel and Club again. Trust me, it is very much worth it!

We travel a great deal and this one tops the list. Amazing location, one block from the Burlington Arcade and yet very quiet at the end of a small street. The rooms are totally perfect, every amenity you can imagine, and the staff the same..we were there for five days, long enough to really "get" the place, knowledgable and friendly concierge(s), a totally responsive staff (at 6 am, day of departure, our shower wouldn't produce hot water and within five minutes it was repaired...) excellent two restaurants..all the benefits of a large place, with the friendliness and concern of a small one..would absolutely recommend, especially room 412..

Ideally situated, though car parking price was ridiculous, but not a lot the Hotel could have done about that. Fantastic room, very modern, very, very comfortable....but what about the generator (Air-Con?) that buzzed all night. That was a big negative. I am a londerner and appreciate that this hotel is as close to the 'sites' as you would wish, and backed by Green Park, for a good morning walk. There were a few nice touches in the room, It was an expensive B&B (we only stayed overnight) but location was excellent.
