| Rated 5 out of 5: Excellent service, close to London's top shopping and eating districts, comfortable and spacious room and bathroom. Lack of parking is a potential problem but this issue is shared by most other London hotels. Rated 3.8 out of 5: The place is beautiful. a boutique hotel recycled recently, with modern touches, but still maintaining the traditional sense. It is small, but every detail is considered and the staff is great. The bedroom and bathroom is too small. Even impossible to put the luggage inside (I was expecting something bigger, considering that we rented a superior room). This is a huge downsize!! The location is nice, but is not so closed to the subway and definitely is not in the most touristic area. A guest to the No. Ten Manchester Street Hotel gave it 5 out of 5 and said: We decided to make a shopping trip to London and were looking for somewhere very close to Oxford Street and stumbled on this absolute gem. 5 mins from Selfridges but a million miles away from all the hustle and bustle. Recently refurbished, this beautiful hotel has all advantages of a modern hotel but made us feel like a member of the family. Large Plasma TV's, (we had an upgrade and the room had 2!) large shower heads, beds to die for. The staff were happy, smiling and always on hand to help. I didn't want to leave, but the nespresso machine in the room meant I had to go for a walk. We will be back! Rated 4 out of 5: Ten Manchester Street - I was uncertain whether to write a review because I've since tried to go back and it was booked out. Seems too many other people love this place too. Just off Marylebone High Street, the is an outstanding boutique hotel. The rooms are very well laid out and beautifully appointed. The staff are understated, but exceptionally helpful. Haven't tried the restaurant but the cigar bar out the back is relaxed and casual. It's a great location with Michelin starred restaurants literally around the corner, Marylebone High Street is a gem (patisseries, bars, restaurants, homewares shops, London's best fromagerie) and the Wallace Collection is a 5 minute walk away, as is Baker Street tube. No Ten is one of my 2 favourite places to stay in London. Rated 4 out of 5: We got a fantastic deal on the hotel so cannot complain about the price at all. It's a lovely little boutique hotel situated in a great part of Central London. Marylebone High Street is just around the corner and Soho/Oxford Street is about a 10 minute walk away. Ten Manchester Street is situated down a small; side road and it is so quiet you wouldn't think you were in London. The decor is very modern, the bed was so comfy I didn't want to wake up and the shower was fantastic. A great drinks/food menu and the champagne cocktails were to die for! My partner and I arrived about 1pm, the Receptionist barely raised a smile when we walked through the door however we were delighted to hear we had been given a free upgrade. Unfortunately, the receptionist really played the upgrade down by stating 'it was nothing special, just some tables and chairs or something..." not the best way to promote the accommodation!! The lift in the hotel is tiny, enough for two people and a very small overnight bag! However, I should point out the positives far outweigh the negatives but I would prefer to be greeted by a smile rather than an air of indifference. Rated 4.3 out of 5: Very attentive, helpful staff Rated 5 out of 5: I say tiring because we did lots of walking. Although the tube is very easy to use & very cheap you do miss a lot of the sites being underground. The hotel was absolutely excellent & would definitely recommend & will definitely be returning. Although it's about a 10min walk to the nearest tube station don't let that put you off as the Baker Street station has almost every line running through it so you save time & stress changing tubes to get to your destination. Rated 4.5 out of 5: This hotel is an excellent location for me but it is generally well placed for most locations in London. The rooms are lovely and beds very very comfortable. |
