| Rated 5 out of 5: I have stayed at the Beaufort many times and have really enjoyed my visit. The als stay some four years ago was not plesant I found the new manager to be rude and downright mean. So I tried again last week to see if there was improvement and to my delight the former manager was gone and the new staff was friendly and responsive as in the past. In addition because the hotel was not fully booked and I was staying six nights the upgraded me to a very nice double room. Overall I'm glad I gave the Beaufort one more try and will return on future trips to London. The elevator is very small and old, wish they could replace it. Rated 4.5 out of 5: Although rather expensive, I rate this hotel highly for it's firendly, unobtrusive and helpful team. The room itself was large, comfortable and well appointed. I enjoyed the complimentary bar and afternoon tea. It's location is excelent just yards from Brompton Road yet in a quiet, tree lined street. Would highly recommend and I will return A Beaufort Hotel guest gave the hotel 5 out of 5 and said: I travelled to London for a long weekend with two friends. We shared a double room with an extra bed and we still had plenty of room. I was pleasantly surprised to see that we never had to ask for a third set of anything. There were enough towels and toiletries and they were replaced each day. We were on the basement floor and had a lounge on the floor nearly to ourselves; it was almost like having a two-room suite. The only drawback was some work being done just outside our window which was quite noisy. The Beaufort's afternoon tea (which is included) was wonderful! It was served in our room (you could have it in the lounge, also). There was a pot of tea, milk, fresh scones, jam and clotted cream. It was a relaxing afternoon break, indeed! Day or night, we could help ourselves to drinks which were included in the room price. There is a fridge in each lounge and you simply help yourself to whatever you'd like. (The fridges are stocked with water, sparkling water, sodas and juices) Alcoholic beverages are also available in the evenings. Breakfast is served in the room each morning. Coffee, juice, cereal, fruit and toast were all included. We paid to add on eggs and they were cooked perfectly. The location of the hotel is fantastic. You are steps from Harrods and other boutiques in Knightsbridge as well as the tube. Very convenient. Three women traveling alone we felt very safe, even walking home late at night. This is not for bargain shoppers, but it was a good price for all that we got. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to London. |
