Staff friendly, room suitable for our 1 night stay & well prepared. Due to our schedule and limited time, we didn't sample the food, although I would happily return to this pub  sample more hospitality! We went to a concert, explored nearby Regents Park, Camden market, & generally had a great time. Thanks.
Parking is on meter & time restricted immediately outside the pub. There is a long stay car park approx 1/4 mile away (£20 per 24hrs). This does not detract room the pub as it is common in the London area.

Set in the suburb of St Johns Wood with its restaurants, shops and bars, but away from the main street in a peaceful location. 5 minute walk from the tube - excellent choice

Ok I should have done this long ago and for this I am sorry because someone somewhere went to London and missed out on staying at this lovely Inn. The New Inn is the perfect place to stay the room was clean and neat the owner and staff make you feel right at home. The food is great and in the evening it is one of the best neighbourhood watering holes. Walking distance to so many sights, The tube(train) is near and buses are also close to take you to all the other sights you may want to see. If you love dogs the cutest one greets you at The New Inn (if you don't London may not be the place for you) London is dog lover but the dogs are so well trained and the streets kept so clean you wouldn't know except to see them walking their masters.
Room Tip: small Inn only 5 rooms the room we had was great

This is a place I will recommend to all my family and friends going to London. Exceptional value for money, clean and good size room. Jan the landlady is a lovely person, always willing to help and ensured our stay was fantastic. The Inn is located in St John's Wood and is about a 10-15min walk to the underground station. St John's Wood High Street is only about 5mins away and has everything - cafe's, post office, banks, drycleaners....etc. Location is perfect. Premises is great - good meals! rooms good size and very clean. WiFi access is free as well. I will be staying here again, wouldn't stay anywhere else in London now. Thanks for a great stay Jan and staff! Sally

Don't be put off by the premises being a pub - Jan Rooney and her staff have created a great place to stay at the New Inn which is halfway between Lords Cricket Ground and London Zoo (Regent's Park) with the added benefit of Greene King ales. The New Inn has superb food featuring both a classic evening menu as well as authentic Thai meals that are seriously tasty. Our room was clean, practical, the complimentary WiFi was very handy and overall the New Inn represents great value for money. Within easy walking distance are the Regents' Canal towpath (east to Camden Locks or west to Little Venice), Regents Park with London Zoo, Primrose Hill with good views over London and a little further Baker Street and Madame Tussauds.

Overall: Very nice hotel with absolutely freindly staff. The room had a huge bathroom, everything clean and nicely made. The location is quiet at night so you can get a good sleep. Only bad thing: our room was facing towards the ventilation system of the kichen so if one
