Excellent location in a pleasant area of London, close to Earl's court and Gloucester Rd tube stations and only a short walk from the natural history museum and the V&A museum. Beautiful rooms, if a bit small, but clean with modern fittings. Food in the hotel was very good. Room service was available with no extra charge. There were also plenty of restaurants close by.

Had a pleasant stay at The Rockwell, the only real negative was the inconsiderate neighbour talking loudly on the phone in the early hours of the morning! Staff were attentive and my single room was of a good standard. I didn't have an evening meal at the hotel since there were plenty of cheaper alternatives nearby. Would suggest that the cables of the lift should be oiled for those who have their rooms right next door!

I stayed at The Rockwell on New Years Eve weekend and we were very pleased with the service and character of the hotel.
It is affordable but also stylish and comfortable. The staff are extremely nice and although seemingly quite 'laid back' they are very efficient. One evening we had dinner in the restaurant and were quite taken aback by the quality of the food. I cannot really fault The Rockwell, and I would recommend it to anyone wanting ' affordable luxury'.
