| A Travelodge Feltham Guest gave the hotel 4 out of 5 and wrote: I stayed with my family for 7 nights to do the full London experience. We never ate in the hotel so I cant comment on that. We found we didn't need to as you had a Asda underneath the hotel various other eateries very close by such as Nandos, Pizza Hut, Chiqutoes, Franky and Bennys and Burger places. The hotel is about a 2min walk from the train station. Walk past the MacDonalds and then right at the Subway and you will see the hotel next to the Asda. The rooms are basic but very clean - All you need when youve been out all day. The staff I found to be very helpful and friendly they organised taxis for my family and gave me everything else I wanted (Iron and Ironing board, extra milks, etc). The rooms are quite hot and a little noisy if you have the windows open but it didn't ever wake me or my family up. Overall an excellent hotel for the price and would definayely recommend it for visiting London (about 25mins from Waterloo by train). A guest gave the hotel 4 out of 5: I stayed here three nights as I had meetings close to Heathrow Airport. I got a bargain rate of £29 which was infinitely cheaper than anything else close to the airport. The travelodge is around 25 mins by bus from Heathrow Central Bus Station, it is a regular service and whilst usually full serves its purpose and is almost door to door. The travelodge is situated in a labyrinth of shopping centre, supermarket and car park, however once you do locate the entrance it's fairly straightforward. Check in was attended too quickly by the brisk receptionist. Staying here at the hottest time of the year resulted in the room feeling like a hot tomb but reception did help with a fan. No problems with towels or toilet rolls as others have mentioned, not much of a view other than the supermarket roof but I was only there to sleep. If you are looking for a cheap place to stay close to Heathrow and can dispense without some of the usual hotel stuff then this could be a good choice for you. |
