| Rated 4 out of 5: A standard Travelodge experience, although a little more modern and well looked after than others I've stayed in in the past. The room was clean and well maintained, the TV was fine, there was even a bottle opener which was an unusual touch! Didn't really have much contact with the staff as I used the self service check in and had no reason to complain, and didn't take advantage of any of the food offerings, although I'm sure they would have been fine if not spectacular. Overall you can't complain at all (for the money). And very very close to terminal 3. A guest gave the hotel 4 out of 5 and wrote: We stayed here for 2 nights, one week apart from each other, when we needed to be close to Heathrow Airport for early flights. We took advantage of Travelodge's internet deal where we could get 19 pound rooms if you booked in advance, with a no cancellation policy- a very reasonable price! On both occasions, check in and check out was a breeze, with 24hr reception and very tidy and clean rooms. It's a relatively new hotel, so its furbished very modernly, and the tv and ensuite were great. Did not hear any planes at all when inside the hotel. We ate dinner at the cafe the restaurant has, the food was very nice, with a fairly decent range of choice on the menu. We didn't hear any other guests throughout the night, even though there were many families staying there. The Hoppa bus is very convenient to the airport, even though 4 pounds for single ticket is a bit pricey. The first night we stayed there we were too late for a Hoppa bus so we had to catch a regular London bus from Hounslow tube station, which would have been tricky if a gentleman hadn't stopped to help us with directions. We would definitely stay here again if we needed to be close to Heathrow again! |

| Rating out of 10: 10 Date stayed: July 2010 review: I stayed in July and I would like to commend the staff on their lovely attitude and their helpful manner. The food was lovely and good value for money. We had had a terrible start to the holiday when our hire car was not avaialble and when we eventually arrived at the hotel after travelling the unknown route from stanstead we were greeted by a smiling face and a very helpfull gentleman. I would recommend the travel lodge and will cetainly be staying with you again. Thanks you |
