| Rated 3.5 out of 5: We spent a few days in London, then, because we had an early flight out of Luton Airport, we stayed at the Travelodge in Luton. It was fine, and convenient to the airport. They also had a direct line to a taxi company, which was helpful. Rated 3.5 out of 5: The Hotel is not the most attractive building but who needs that when its cheap. It is also very near the M1 and convenient. checking in the man on reception c was very helpful and friendly however on the down side, his colleague in the cafe bar not so helpful and very disinterested in the concept of cheerful customer service. The food was OK and you can take it on a tray to your room. The room was average Travelodge, basic but clean but wouldn't expect much more for the money, except perhaps a bedside shelf that was missing on one side. Adjoining the hotel is a petrol station and handy cost cutter store that saves you money on those midnight snacks. |

Rating out of 10: 1 Date stayed: June 2010 review: We booked in this one for June 26th and 27th, we found it to be so disgusting that we spent only one night and forfeited the second nights payment. I would not recommend anybody to stay here I would rate it -0 |

Rating out of 10: 1 Date stayed: December 2005 review: Although this hotel was cheap it was not cheerful, nor clean. The hotel smelt foully of tobacco smoke, both public areas and the room. The ensuite facilities were basic and the shower curtain was covered in black mould. The sheets smelt awful, and there was not enough bedding supplied for our whole party. The reception staff were friendly enough, but we would definately not recommend it to anyone nor stay there again ourselves.Perhaps if they separated part of the hotel for non smokers and cleaned it we might change our minds. |
