Rated 3 out of 5:
Good value overall- Travelodge Marylebone hotel room in need of upgrading-wobbly taps etc- but comfy bed-had to pay £10 for use of room because arrived before 3-then we had same room to stay! Oyster cards very useful on underground. Bar next to hotel very good. Would recommend Billy Elliot but would upgrade tickets didn't realise would be so high up.

Rated 3 out of 5:
This hotel is fine. No its not the Ritz... its not even a Holiday Inn but it is CHEAP!!
If you read most of the negative reviews most of them are in relation to the noise, small bathroom or staff. What does that matter?... I found the noise at the Hilton in New York annoying too but that cost me £250 a night for the privilege! We paid £32 a night to stay here! (oh and by the way we had no noise at all).
The only issue I had was having to wait 10 minutes.... yes 10 minutes!! until the clock said 2:30 so that we could check in. We arrived at 2:20 and were told we had to wait! Trivial but if thats the rules then so be it... Just found it trivial and annoying but it wouldn't stop me going back
The rooms are clear and the beds have fresh sheets on. The bathrooms are clean and so are the towels. The staff don't go out of their way to be over the top but they basically so all that is required! Its not like they have much else to offer you.....ITS A TRAVELODGE!!!
Have stayed her about 5 times. Its a room & shower and if your wanting more than that your going to have to double/treble you budget and stay elsewhere!

A Travelodge Marylebone guest rated the stay at 4 out of 5 and commented:
We only stayed one night between arrival from Paris (Eurostar) and departure from Heathrow the following morning. Booked at last minute so had to pay full price, but room was clean and surprisingly spacious. The usual Travelodge lack of amenities (no hair dryer, shampoo, etc.), but compared to the Travelodge Kew Bridge the Marylebone is a palace. Excellent location directly across from the Marylebone Tube station, which is only two stops from Paddington where you can catch the Express or Direct Natl Rail train to Heathrow. Not many eating establishments nearby, but the Hobgoblin Pub on Balcombe St. (~ 5 minute walk) serves excellent Thai food. As we were checking out the very lovely Jamaican girl at the desk asked if we enjoyed our stay, what we liked about the hotel, etc. What's more she seemed to be genuinely interested in our comments. On our next trip to London I will check the Saver/Flexible rates at Marylebone. If a decent rate is available we will probably make it our future base of operations for visiting the city.

A hotel guest gave the accommodation 4 out of 5:
The hotel is fine, clean and basic but that's all you're paying for with their low prices. There was TV, tea/coffee and towels in the room. You have to provide your own tolietries and hairdryer but they tell you that in advance on their website. The staff were fine and the buffet breakfast was nice enough. Biggest disadvantage is the fact that there are little to no bars/restaurants close by, we arrived late on a Friday night and the only place we could find was at Baker St and at that it was a kebab shop!! Would recommend if you were sure you weren't going to need a meal near the hotel!
