Ok if you are looking for a romantic break, this is not the place for you. In fact you should back away from the Travelodge brand entirely, your partner will appreciate it. This is London people, expect to pay more for less or pay even more for better.
Stayed here for the NFL game in Wembley, convenient for central London via the Park Royal underground station (a 5 minute walk from the hotel) which will take you into the centre within 25 minutes. You get to the underground via a subway which I would not recommend doing on your own at night, frankly that would just be common sense to most people. Restaurants across the road (10 minute walk via subway), mainly chains, but ok if you want something quick on a Sunday night.
Was in a room at the front, slight noise from the A40, but nothing major and the internal and external double glazing brought the noise down to a very dull rumble which did not disturb our sleep. As for the Heathrow flight path, we were on the top floor (4) and didn't hear a single plane. Don't know about the back rooms, facing the train lines but can't imagine they're any worse then HGV's going past the front. Parking does cost £5 per 24 hours, payment is made in coins (or by mobile) so have change ready.
The room (like all Travelodges) was basic but clean. The towels were clean but well used so felt a bit rough. Had no problems with the shower or anything else in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable, the sheets clean. Only one cup for coffee, which was a bit odd for a double room, but we made do all the same. There were no problems with the electrics (I checked each plug). TV's were old but I didn't come to London to watch the X Factor.
The lift is a bit dodgy, avoided it after the first time as it took ages for the door to open when you got to your floor (thought I was stuck for a bit) we all used the stairs. The stairs were in the worst condition, very bad damp problem on the walls but as you will only be there a few minutes, nothing to really gripe about. Staff were friendly, although like many minimum wage jobs in this industry, attract people who do not have English as their first language. We didn't fancy the breakfast in a bag, we went out for everything. BP garage next door has most things you should need and is open 24/7.
Not a bad budget sleep, If you are looking for a room that costs less then £60 per room, per night in London when a major event is taking place on the weekend, your options are limited. This is a place where you put your head down, not where you spend loads of time.

review: AVOID! AVOID! Hotel was functional, and room was big. Problem is, there is no dining room or storage facility. I was there for one night, and they couldn't store anything over the course of the day. I had no choice but to book another night. Then I found out later the sullen girl behind the counter had charged me breakfast for the following morning, even though it was optional and she knew I was out the door that afternoon. And don't start me on the breakfast - the servo next door would be better value. Although the tube is nearby, there's a freeway right in front, requiring a large detour.... In end effect - your money would be much better spent elsewhere.........

review: We have just got back, the room/bathroom were clean with everything you need. The windows were very mouldy, the noise was so bad we had to buy earplugs just to get some sleep as the tube track runs at the back of the hotel and the double glazing does not drown out the noise. We did not feel safe walking about as the area is very rough. Hotel staff are hit and miss, i had to complain after the first night as our tv was not working but the member of staff looked confused when i asked for it to be changed or fixed.....of course it wasn't!!! Aparently they aren't allowed to change the tv but did offer to change rooms but who want's to pack and then unpack again!! I would not recommend this hotel and will never stay in a travelodge again.

review: Bloody awful! Avoid this hotel at all costs! The rooms are filthy; I had to change 3 times before they could provide a sanitary room. I was staying with colleagues, they all had similar complaints.

review: Terrible stay, dirty bathroom, no soap. No teabags and used sheets, resulting in my sleeping on top of duvet!

review: There was a warm welcome from every member of staff we encountered.  The hotel looked as though it had been very recently refurbished.  The room was clean and tidy, plenty of teabags, soap, loo roll etc.  Towels were reasonably sized.  Plenty of bedding for the family room we booked.  Only fault was a missing towel rail.  Double glazing kept the noise of the A40 to a minimum.  An easy walk to Park Royal tube station and a variety of restaurants, Vue cinema, bowling alley are right opposite.  Breakfast packs were good but cheap Danish pastries etc available from BP garage right next door.  Car park at £5 for 24 hours was reasonable for London.  1 hour at Heathrow terminal 5 costs £4...  Lots of families staying.
