| Rated 4.8 out of 5: great location, friendly service and clean room Rated 4.4 out of 5: We have stayed at the Victoria Inn for weekends many times. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is perfectly adequate and the hotel is clean. The location is superb. Rated 3.8 out of 5: I was happy with the convenient location and accessibility to the main tourist attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful. I felt the rooms were too small. It was quite difficult to move in my single room. The shower was small also. The dining room was quite crowded and hot but it was fortunate that we could take our food outside as they had a nice outdoor dining area and the morning was pleasant enough to go out to have breakfast. Rated 3 out of 5: This was my first time on a 3 star hotel, so we were with our expectancy's very low. The hotel is very central, just 5/7 minutes from Victoria station. The hotel is very small, but the room was ok, simple but convenient. Breakfast was very simple and the room was small, but we went there with a baby stroller. If you like to walk, it isn't far from Hyde park corner, as well as Big Ben, and on theses places you can go to almost every other important parts in London. For the price, you have breakfast included, you have a comfortable room and a very central hotel. i booked directly on the hotel's site. Rated 4.5 out of 5: Really happy with my stay at the Victoria Inn, fantastic location, really friendly staff and reasonably priced for a London hotel b&b. Rated 4.5 out of 5: I stayed at the Victoria inn for one night, it was quiet and the room was well kept. The staff at the reception desk are very helpful and polite. It is well placed near Victoria and the royal horticultural halls. The breakfast was also good as it was included in the price. I would stay again. Rated 4 out of 5: Previously read reviews made me doubt the decision to book our 5 night stay here. Our contact with the hotel was always friendly and excellent. We were too early to check in but were allowed to leave our cases in the reception with a locked rope. When we finally checked in we found our room to be clean with a modern bathroom and more than adequate space for three of us. Room 34 is at the back of the hotel and quiet. You do hear other guests on the stairs and in their rooms but I didn't feel it was intrusive. The hotel is an easy short walk to Pimlico tube station. Breakfast is taken in the basement and the room is basic and functional. On offer is toast, cereals, bread rolls and croissants, cheese and plenty of juice and hot drinks. All perfectly fine. There may be a queue for seat but that is because everyone wants to eat at the same time, while queuing there will be guests taking ages chatting etc, the breakfast is fine but not worth relaxing over! We were too eager to start our day in London to linger. A guest gave the Victoria Inn 3 out of 5: Spent three nights there toward the end of September. It was clean and quiet and the staff was friendly and helpfull. Slept well every night. Breakfast is not so good. Next time I will not bother and just go out somewhere for breakfast. Great location. Easy walk to many London sights and tube stations. Easy to get to from Gatwick. I will be going back as soon as I can afford another UK holiday and will probably spend a week. A guest gave the hotel 3 out of 5: We got a room at £80 to go to a gig at brixton academy. The location was round the corner from pimlico station and the room was clean. It was however, about the size of a ferry or train overnight room, and the bathroom/wetroom was so small you could pee and take a shower at the same time. Could be as we got the very top room, so it was an attic room. Good for one night where you have to stay over - a bit depressing if you took a holiday there! View was nice - could see milennium wheel. Breakfast ok , nothing facny, cearal and toast. Coffee was not coffee, but we got one elsehwhere after. |
