Rated 4.5 out of 5:
We live in London and had a night away from the kids - was fun being in Mayfair within walking distance of so many restaurants and shops. The room had been renovated and was lovely. Only negative comments - please provide brighter bedside lighting as the lowly lit lamp was hard to read by, and we had to open the window as the heat from the mirror and towel rails in the bathroom was too much even in winter.

Rated 4 out of 5:
stayed at this hotel last week with my colleagues from work and i should definitely say location is perfect and front line (reception/concierge) service is bonus point to the hotel.
will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends in the future.

A Washington Mayfair Hotel guest rated the hotel 5 out of 5 and wrote:
Our study abroad program stayed at Washington Mayfair Hotel and enjoyed our stay greatly. The hotel made us feel welcomed, served us delicious breakfasts, gave us great rooms with heated bathroom floors, towel bars and comfortable accommodations. The new rooms were nicely appointed. The staff and management were professional, welcoming and helpful. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation. I thank them for their graciousness with all the students who were coming and going at all hours. This location is perfect for theatre, art, and cultural excursions. We could walk almost everywhere. Great inexpensive eating in the neighbourhood with pubs and some restaurants.

A guest gave the hotel 4 out of 5 and said:
I found the room's to be fabulous, as my colleague's agreed- I had a large, spacious ultra modern room, with 2 fluffy bathrobes, excellent heating (which was needed as it was snowing) and the cleanliness was excellent. I loved the bathroom, with the Villeroy & Boch fitting's, the stainless steel heated towel rail's, the circular bathroom mirror with the white light around the rim and the robust power shower with several setting's. Lovely. My only issue was that there was no 'Do Not Disturb' sign in my room, which is the first I've ever noted a hotel not to have one. I was woken from sleeping off my hangover 3 separate time's between 10.00 am and 11.30 am, which by then I was so pi5$3d that I just got up and got ready to leave. I enquired on check-out about this and was told that there should have been one. The 2 female staff apologised and this was appreciated. Other than this 1 issue, the Full English breakfast buffet was lovely, it had all your trimmings, along with prompt service of tea, coffee and freshly made toast- which I especially appreciate as I ALWAYS burn the toast when using those conveyor belt contraptions. Very happy with the location, room quality and the swift service- both the check in, checkout and at breakfast. I also asked for more Tea and milk portion's which were delivered promptly with a smile at 8.30am in the morning. Thanks for being a warm and homely respite in what can be at time's, a big, rude and icy city. I will stay again in the New year.
