Liked: the closeness to the airport and the service from the staff

From the moment we were greeted by the receptionist (Riehen) sorry for misspelling of your name on your comments form (Rhian) to the time that our taxi arrived, spot on time 05:40am for our early morning flight, to the self help continental breakfast of a great selection of cereals etc; my wife said I could not have chosen a better place to stay ( if she says that, it must be good)
The taxi on our return appeared within 10 minutes from phoning the taxi service within the airport, and on arrival to collect my car at Ifield Court, a few miles away from Waterhall House (a more secure place) I was asked for my car Registration Number, which I can never remember, the car was finally released after fumbling through various paperwork I had, to find the Reg Number.
Well done to Waterhall, an excellent service, what more can one say.

We have stayed at Waterhall three times previously and have booked again which shows how much we love the place. You feel relaxed as soon as you arrive as the hotel is situated in beautiful countryside. The owners are very welcoming and really helpful. They can offer you advice on the local area e.g. best places to eat or have a drink etc, that is, if you do not want to eat there in their lovely conservatory which overlooks a beautiful garden. The rooms are well appointed, always clean and offer TV with 5 channels, radio alarm clocks, hairdryers, tea making facilities and toiletries, everything you could wish for. If you have forgotten to pack any essential items for your holiday, there is a good supermarket only 5 minutes drive away. The full breakfast is great, eggs, bacon, sausage, beans, mushrooms, toast, cereals, yogurt, juice, tea or coffee. Really sets you up well for the day. Transfers to Gatwick airport only take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic & even this is included in their hotel rate with 2 weeks free parking. If you are thinking of booking this gem of a place, do it. You wont regret it.
