| Rated 5 out of 5 : My partner and I stayed at the Windmill hotel whilst our house renovations took longer than expected. I was not expecting much from the hotel but we were both very, very impressed with what we found. The room (standard), was large, clean and modern. The bathrooms well equipped with everything you expect from a hotel of a much higher star rating. The breakfast was great with a large choice of options including the full English or Eggs Benedict all served al a carte! The staff at the hotel were friendly and professional and whilst not being stuffy. The housekeeping team should also be congratulated the cleanliness of the hotel was first rate. I would have no hesitation in staying or recommending this hotel to anyone. A fantastic hotel and reasonably priced, brilliant value for money Rated 4 out of 5 : I was down at this Hotel while on a course and I found it to be clean and comfortable and the food is adequate and tasty. The location is excellent and the Hotel surprisingly quiet. Rated 4 out of 5 : Liked: This is a cozy hotel with friendly staff. It is very convenient to the tube in a fine location. Disliked: This is not a bad point, but the dinner I chose could have used some improvement. The chips were great, but the fish was fair. Still, it was a decent meal for the money. Overall: I would recommend it. Rated 3.7 out of 5 : A great location on the common, close to public transport and nice rooms Overall: I have enjoyed my visits and will return again |
