I can't sleep on planes and become a zombie after 36 hours of sleep-deprivation. This was the best thing for us to catch a bit of sleep and get cleaned up. Unfortunately, we arrived and departed from Terminal 5 at Heathrow and the Yotel is in Terminal 4, so we had to get between these terminals. That took a bit of time. We had just missed the bus, which we were told was faster than the underground. So, rather than wait the 1/2 hour we took the underground train which was slow service also. I advise you allow enough time for this connection if you are not using Terminal 4.
Also, if you want a shower, and don't want to get your hair wet, remember to take one of their complimentary shower caps from their front desk. They have big overhead shower rain sprinkler type of arrangement. So, I regretfully skipped the shower altogether as I did not have a shower cap and missed the ones at the desk.

A Yotel Heathrow guest reckoned their stay was a 4 out of 5 and wrote:
After leaving New Zealand early Thursday and 2 flights delayed and the third a missed connection we were so shattered and had a 6 hour wait for final flight to milan. What an oasis of peace and calm we found at Yotel . The receptionist was so efficient and helpful. This was our first experience of transit accommodation, couldnt beleive how quiet it was. spotlessly clean and though tiny it was very functional, with a monthlong holiday before us from way down under we had 2 large cases and 2 carryons so bit of a tight squeeze, but the shower was bliss and the bed so comfortable, I expected to just get rest as we were overtored but we definatly got a great few hours sleep. Expensive for us from NZ but definatly worth it , and will certainly use them again.
