History: First opened in 1928 the Aerodrome
Hotel was the first UK hotel purpose built to serve an airport, in this case
Croydon Airport (closed 1959) which was also the first ever international
airport.
In 2007 changed name from Aerodrome Classic Hotel.
In 2007 the hotel underwent a £2 million pound refurbishment. Improvements
included a new elevator in the hotels glass atrium and added twenty four deluxe
bedrooms.
Past Names: Was known as the The Aerodrome Classic Hotel till 2011.
Previously was called the Posthouse Forte Croydon.
