Introduction: The Best Western Mostyn Hotel London is located just off from Marble Arch and right by the famous shopping area of Oxford Street. The entrance is on a relatively quiet side street opposite the Thistle Marble Arch Hotel. A few minutes walk from the Hotel is Park Lane which is where you can find a variety of buses, including open top, for seeing the sights of London. Also close by is Edgware Road where shops and restaurants are very much geared towards the Middle Eastern traveller. Hyde Park is just under 400 yards from the hotel. Hotel:
The building itself is grade II listed and has a long history having started life as a stately home built by John Adam for Lady Black. This was in the early 1700's when she was a lady-in-waiting to the court of King George II. Many of the original Georgian features of the building remain today such as the ornate ceilings to be found in the restaurant and the conference rooms.
