The Best Western Corona Hotel has completed a multi million pound refurbishment program. Located in central London, slightly
West of the very centre, just half a mile from the Victoria mainline station and Coach station. Victoria is where the
Gatwick Express train service runs from providing a non-stop serve into Gatwick
airport. This part of SW1 is known as Pimlico and is just South of the main Victoria area. Belgrave Road is while busy has less traffic passing by than the
surrounding main roads. Nearby shops are to be found along Vauxhall Bridge Road and Lupus Street. Pimlico is in many ways quite similar to Bayswater/Paddington
in that its a very popular spot for budget class Hotels which line Belgrave Road and the parallel St Georges Drive. The surrounding area provides good transport
links and this location makes a good base for a sightseeing holiday in Central London. Nearest attractions include the Tate Britain (0.5 miles), Queens gallery
(0.7 miles), Westminster Abbey (0.8 miles), Buckingham Palace (0.8 miles), Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament (0.9 miles) and the
London Eye (1.2 miles). The Best Western is an elegant Victorian white fronted conversion.
