Introduction: Just off of Sloane Street and between
Knightsbridge and Belgravia is the Jumeirah Carlton Tower Hotel London. This is
an upmarket area with world famous shopping close by at Knightsbridge, Kings
Road Chelsea and Sloane Street itself. Knightsbridge is perhaps best known as
the location of
Harrods
Department Store where its said its possible to buy just about anything,
albeit at a price. This central location affords easy access to all of the many
attractions London has to offer, with
Hyde Park a short
walk away to the North (0.3 miles). Belgravia which is to the East of the hotel
has some of the most expensive residential homes to be found anywhere in the UK.
Cadogan Place is quite busy although its really a side street as it a major cut
through for traffic avoiding Knightsbridge. Less than a mile to the South East
is Victoria station. One of London's 5 major national train stations and the
starting point for the Gatwick Express, which runs non-stop out to Gatwick
Airport. To the West of the hotel is South Kensington, yet another area known
for its fashionable and upmarket shops. The hotel faces Cadogan Place which is
a beautiful square of with maintained private gardens in the middle, including a
pair of tennis courts, surrounded by houses to one side and Sloane Street to the

Executive Suite: Faces the rear of the hotel overlooking the pool. Has its own
lounge. Can accommodate up to 3 adults. 48 square meters
Luxury Suite: These rooms have spectacular views as they are on the top floors
of this 18 floor hotel. The living area, dining area with dining table and
bedrooms are all separated. Nespresso coffee machine. Bathrooms have under floor
heating, a Jacuzzi and TV. Can accommodate up to 3
adults. 79 square meters
Presidential Suite: Huge luxury suite with the best of everything. Great views,
its own kitchen, a sauna room, stereo, large plasma screen. Can accommodate up
to 4 adults. 170 square meters.
Dining:
The Rib Room: This long running running restaurant (since 1961) with a capacity
for 84 guests is located on the ground floor and serves traditional and modern
British cuisine. The signature dish of Roast Rib of Aberdeen Angus beef from the
Scottish estate of the Duke of Buccleuch, has repeatedly secured the restaurant
the accolade of Best Chophouse in Zagat's London Restaurant Survey. Features live pianos music during Diner.

The Chinoiserie: Relaxed environment offering a taste of the Orient. Here
lighter dining is served. Serves light meals, snacks, pastries and refreshments.
Seats 64 guests. Features a resident harpist.
Open: 07.00 till 01.00 (Sunday from 08.00). Traditional afternoon tea served
between 15.00 and 18.00.
The Club Room (part of the Peak health club ): Up on the ninth level offering
great views of London and with a strict no smoking policy. Large screen plasma
television. Serves a large range of food and drinks (including alcoholic drinks
and a La Carte menu). Intimate sized dining with a capacity for 39 guests.

Gilt Champagne Lounge: Sophisticated and glamorous setting with background music with seating
for 30 guests. The interior is designed in seductive shades of cream, gold and
black with many bespoke touches. The compact list of 10 Champagnes includes
Louis Roederer Cristal and there is also a Bellini collection and cocktail list
featuring monthly specials.

The Rib Bar: Red leather chairs. Upbeat atmosphere. Live piano music evenings.

A feature of the Jumeirah Carlton Tower Hotel is The Peak Health Club & Spa on the ninth level and open
every day including bank holidays. An extensive range of spa and fitness
facilities is offered including aerobic classes. The gymnasium has the latest in
fitness equipment including cardio machines. Various beauty treatments are
available from the likes of Sisley and Pevonia. Down on the second level is the
hotels Centre piece of the facility is the 20 metre stainless steel
ozone-treated indoor swimming pool (limited hours for under fives) set alongside
a tropical water garden. Also on the second level is the hotels unisex
hairdresser, Nicholas of London.
Other facilities are on offer at the Carlton Tower include a florist shop,
Jewellery shop and newspaper stand.
There are 11 conference/meeting rooms. These range from the Ballroom which can
handle 670 guests reception style to the Maple room which has a capacity of 12
boardroom style.
