Description: Situated in Bayswater is the Central Park Hotel. This area is very popular with budget class hotels and is to the north west of the most central parts of London. Transport links are very good with 5 tube stations with half a mile. These include Paddington Station which s one of London's major mainline stations providing services all over Britain and a direct service out to Heathrow Airport (Heathrow Express). Its a little over 200 yards to Bayswater Road where a London taxi is always passing by and where several bus routes have stops. Its also the northern border of Kensington gardens and Hyde Park, a great place for a relaxing stroll, looking at the many statues and landscaped garden areas or going boating on the Serpentine Lake during good weather days.  A very short stroll to the west finds Queensway where you will find a range of shops, bars, restaurants, an ice skating rink and indoor swimming pool. Other nearby shopping areas include Notting Hill and Kensington High Street. Nearest attractions include the Portobello Road Antiques Market (0.6 miles), Alexandra Fleming laboratory (0.6 miles), Kensington Palace (0.6 miles), Serpentine Gallery (0.7 miles) and the Royal Albert Hall (0.8 miles).
