Avenue. This borders the start of the City of London (square mile, financial
district) while still being in the heart of the tourist areas of London.
Nearby is the River Thames, the National Gallery, Piccadilly
Circus at the edge of Soho, Nelsons Column and Trafalgar Square.
Trafalgar square itself has now been pedestrianised on the North
side. Also close to the government buildings and Westminster Abbey, the

Embankment, and a taxi rank is just a 1-minute walk. It is a
