Hilton London Tower Bridge

Introduction: The Hilton Tower Bridge is a new and modern hotel close to London Bridge Station and less than 1 mile from the City of London, the capitals financial centre. 'More London' are the grounds surrounding the London mayors office. This is a pleasantly landscaped area with shops and cafes. When the hotel was opened on the 6th October 2006 by the then London Mayor Ken Livingstone, it was only the second hotel to open in the borough of Southwark since 1840. The hotel is just on the southern side of the River Thames but access to the Northern side and the City of London is very easy via the close by Tower Bridge and London Bridge. Actually in Southwark, an area which dates back to Roman times. Nearest attractions include the London Dungeon (0.03 miles), HMS Belfast (0.15 miles), Southwark Cathedral (0.2 miles), Monument (0.3 miles), Vinopolis City of Wine (0.3 miles),  Shakespeare's Globe (0.5 miles), Design Museum (0.6 miles), Tate Modern (0.7 miles) and St Paul's Cathedral (0.8 miles).

The Hilton brings boutique style within the walls of a large modern purpose built hotel.
The standard Hilton bedrooms have a contemporary style with light and airy decorations and large windows that can be opened. Colour schemes are bold and are predominantly browns, reds, silver and crèmes. Furnishings are again modern and of designer style. Onsite on the ground floor is the Contemporary 'Larder' Restaurant. Here the menu is modern European and British cuisine with a 150 seat capacity. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Open for breakfast (hot and cold buffet including cereals), lunch and dinner from 07.00 till 22.30.
The 160 seat capacity 'Ruba Rar', also on the ground floor, is the place for a cocktail or your favourite tipple and where you will find a lively ambience. A trendy cafe/bar which features glass sides. Open 07.00 till 22.30.
The business traveller will be pleased to note that the hotel offers 9 meeting rooms. There is a also a dedicated business centre open 07.00 till 21.00. Facilities include Courier Service, copy and Fax, WIFI internet access, mobile phone and pager rental and Transparencies. Other hotel features include a LivingWell Express Health Club.
State of the art conference facilities for up to 400 guests, along with a stunning 9th floor terrace for up to 60 people.
