The Comfort
Inn Victoria is located close to the heart of London in an area
known as Pimlico. A short walk to the top of the road finds Victoria mainline
Station with has a direct train service to Gatwick Airport (takes about 40
minutes). Pimlico itself is a residential area and in many ways belies its
central location. A half mile walk to the south brings you to the banks of the
River Thames which affords many spots t0 sit and relax or dedicated walks
alongside the river itself. Nearest shopping is found along Warwick Road while
major shopping is at Victoria Street half a mile to the North East. Nearest
attractions include Westminster Cathedral (0.3 miles), Queens Gallery (0.4
miles), Buckingham Palace (0.6 miles), Wellington Arch (0.7 miles), Apsley House
(0.8 miles), Westminster Abbey (0.8 miles), St James's Palace (0.8 miles),
National Army Museum (0.8 miles) and the London Eye (millennium Wheel) (1.3
miles). The hotel has been refurbished (2006) to provide a modern and contemporary environment for hotel guests.
