| Vicinity:
The Copthorne Tara Hotel is located in a cul-de-sac just off of
Kensington High Street. This is one of London's premier shopping areas and
most affluent residential areas. The late Diana Princess of Wales lived along
this road in Kensington Palace where today a memorial and gardens is open to the
public. Adjacent to the Palace is Hyde Park,
this is wonderful open area with a lake, gallery, horse riding and boating in
good weather. Transport links are good with the nearby tube station and no
shortage of buses and taxis along the High Street. The hotel is in an off-road
location so its relatively quiet given the busy area. This is a good base for
all the central attractions such as the
Natural History and
Science museums
(0.7 miles),
Albert Memorial (0.8 miles),
Harrods department Store
(1.2 miles) and
Buckingham
Palace (2.2 miles). The two Exhibition centres of Earls Court and Olympia

Open: 11.00 till 01.30. The CafeXpress: Has 24/7 high speed internet stations and a plasma TV screen showing news and sports channels. Coffee and tea and hot and cold snacks are served along with fresh sandwiches and baguettes. Also salads and fresh jiuces. Open 7.00am till 21.00 each day. Artist Corner: Serves ‘A la Carte’ and a mostly European and British menu using fresh seasonal ingredients. The setting is informal and relaxed. The hotel's chef team prepare the finest cuisine using only the freshest of seasonal ingredients. Open: 6.30 till 10.30 ( 7.00 till 11.00 Sunday), 17.30 till 22.30. The hotel has a Business Centre and offers Secretarial services. Meeting rooms are available with a capacity for 2 to 280 guests.
