Introduction: The Crown Moran Hotel was formerly a public
house but since 2003 its been reborn as a 4 star hotel serving a thriving
community in and around Cricklewood, north London. This area and the adjoining
area of Kilburn have a notably large Irish population with a good number of
Irish bars nearby. Located just over 1 mile from the North Circular Dual
Carriageway (orbital road around London north of the River Thames) and Junction
1 of the M1 motorway. The hotel is on Cricklewood Broadway, a busy main road and
high street with good bus, taxi and tube links. This is also part of the A5 dual
carriageway which goes down to Marble Arch (3.9 miles) in central London or
right up to North Wales. The immediate vicinity has plenty of shops and bars,
not the upmarket and top brand shopping you'll find in central London districts
but a good range of amenities none the less. Close by, slightly more than
walking distance (1.4 miles), is the Brent Cross Covered Shopping centre known
as North London's West End and home to many of the top name stores and
restaurants. Nearest attractions include the
Hampstead museum/burgh house (1.7 miles),
Freud Museum in
Hampstead (1.7 miles), Keats House (2 miles) and
Kenwood House
(2.4 miles). Also convenient for Wembley stadium (3.1 miles) which is easily
accessed via the A406 North Circular Road.

Each room is en-suite with supplied toiletries and hairdryer. The bedrooms and
suites have been designed to incorporate comfort sand convenience such as
climate control/air-conditioning, voice mail phones, and data ports for
fax/modem, high speed internet access, laptop sized safe, work desk/lamp,
satellite television, and tea/coffee making facilities.
The Crown Moran has 5 suites that have upgraded facilities such as widescreen
LCD television, CD player, Jacuzzi, mini bars and a seating area.
All rooms are configured with either a double bed or a double bed and one twin
bed. Suites have one king size bed.
The hotel offers designated no-smoking rooms and has six guest rooms that have
been specially adapted for disabled guests.

Dining
The hotel's restaurant is the King Sitric Bar & Grill. Here the speciality is 28
day aged Irish beef steaks from the charcoal grill. The frequently changing menu
includes simple seasonal dishes and house specialties.
For a more relaxed dining the Crown Pub serves bar food and snacks.
There are five bars in The Crown, each bar has a unique ambience, from leisurely
to lively.
The Crown has a contemporary style, The Saloon Bar cosy and yet elegant and the
Library Bar, adjacent to the restaurant, is the perfect spot for pre-dinner
cocktails in discrete and sleek surrounds. There are live bands on Friday
evenings and a DJ Thursday through Sunday evenings in the 'Back Bar'.
Traditional Irish Music Fridays in the lounge bar and on Sunday afternoons in
'The Upstairs Bar'. Karaoke on Sundays.
Private dining is available in the Brent, Barnet and Camden Rooms. More casual
dining and snacks are served from early until late in the bars. In addition to
the main menu there is a selection of daily specials.
The hotel also offers Four suites suitable for meetings, training sessions,
seminars and conferences.
