DeSalis Hotel - Stansted

Description: The Desalis Stansted Hotel is located around an 8 minute drive from the main Stansted Airport. Nearest attractions include House on the Hill Toy Museum (2.32), Mountfitchet Castle ( 2.32 miles), Gardens of Easton Lodge (2.94 miles) and Mole Hill Wildlife Park (3.55 miles).

The hotel was built in 2004 and is of contemporary design and geared very much to the traveller using the airport. An unusual hotel that is run on a far more informal basis than the majority of hotels, especially the branded ones. The hotel is just off the airport flight path in a slightly secluded area surrounded by woodland. There is a nearby golf course and gymnasium.

Room facilities include en-suite (bath,  shower, WC, hairdryer), Tea & Coffee hospitality tray, fridge, Central heating, Desk & Lamp, Trouser Press, desk, ironing facilities, WiFi internet access, Alarm Clock/Radio, Direct Dial Phone and Television with DVD player.

The DeSalis has 2 onsite restaurants, one where the menu is Indian cuisine with continental, Traditional English and European options, the second restaurant serves an Italian menu and has a WiFi connection accessible (also traditional English dishes).

Directions: From the M11 exit at junction 8. Head towards terminal, signposted short stay car park and Radisson SAS. At the last roundabout before the terminal (Coppers End Roundabout) take the fourth exit, signposted Molehill Green. You will immediately come to a mini roundabout. Take a left towards Molehill and Elsenham. Keep on this road for exactly 2.2 miles and the hotels is on your right. When you are a mile away from the hotel, on your right will be the Three Horse Shoes pub (this way you now your going the right way.

Shuttle: Hotel runs its own shuttle service. Takes around 5-10 minutes to the terminal and operates 24 hours. Pick up is from the the Blue short-stay car park, Row E. From there ring the hotel for pickup.
