| Description:
The Express Buckhurst Hill is
located to the North East of London Proper, 10.8 miles from central London, and
is close to the North Circular Road
(A406) which gives access to the M11 motorway and out to Stansted Airport. Just
2 miles from Epping Forest, London's Largest public open space/park and infamous
for being home to Dick Turpin perhaps the most famous of all highwaymen (old
name for robbers who preyed on those travelling on the roads). Local attractions
include Queen Elizabeth Hunting Lodge (0.9 miles), William Moriss Gallery (3.3
miles), Vestry House Museum (3.5 miles) and Epping Forest District Museum (4.4
miles). Bedrooms are contemporary in style and amenities include en-suite facilities with power shower, modem point, cable TV and In room movie rental, Coffee/tea maker, direct dial telephone, Dataport hairdryer, en-suite with power shower, in-room safe, Telephone and wheelchair accessible. Daily maid service. All rooms feature high speed WIFI internet connection. There is no onsite restaurant but immediately adjacent to the hotel is a Toby Carvery with other restaurants in the surrounding area. The Toby Carvery specialises in roast carverys and also has a bar. The Express does have a breakfast room (the Great Room) with breakfast served each morning on the ground floor at the end of the lobby. Here you can enjoy a choice from fruit juices, tea and coffee, hot drinks, white or brown toast, Danish pastries, all butter croissants, cereals, fruit and yoghurts. For the business traveller the hotel has a meeting room with a capacity for up to 30 theatre style.
