Introduction: The Express by Holiday Inn Luton Airport
hotel is a short drive from the M1 motorway which runs through the heart of
England all the way up to Scotland. More importantly its one of the 2 closest
hotels to the Luton Airport terminal, along with the
Ibis Luton
and its actually located on the airport grounds. Near to local rail services and of course
located within the Luton Airport grounds making it a great choice for both
national and international events. Transfer to the main airport terminal can
made by taxi or the frequent local bus service. It can even be walked in around
ten minutes. London Luton Airport medium term car park is located opposite the
hotel. A shuttle service runs between the nearby Luton Parkway Station and the
airport itself. The station runs services into London itself. While the
immediate area around the hotel offers no facilities apart from the airport
terminal itself, you can take a bus quite easily into Luton town centre. If your
looking for things to do during your stay consider a trip to Whipsnade Safari
Park, one of the largest parks of its type in Europe, and only 7.2 miles way.
Local attractions include Stockwood Craft Museum and Gardens (2 miles), Luton
Museum and Art Gallery (2 miles) and Woodside Animal Farm & Leisure Park (3.5
miles).

The Holiday Inn Express Luton Airport hotel offers contemporary style, modern

The hotel was first opened in 2004 is run on franchise basis and is currently
under the ownership and management of Somerston Hotels who have operated hotels
since 1997. In 2005 they merged with BDL hotels to consolidate their portfolio
of Express by Holiday Hotels.
