| Introduction:
The Holiday Express Royal Docks - Docklands hotel is
a one minute walk from Canning Town Underground Station, and
located by
the A13 dual carriageway which gives access out to the M25
motorway. The A13 is also the main road into the
City of London
and its square mile, the financial centre of London. Canning Town Underground Station gives access to the
Jubilee line, giving direct routes to the centre of London which
cane be travelled in around 30 minutes.
Convenient for the City Airport which is under 2 miles, and a very easy journey
by road, to the East. The
hotel is ideally located for the new
Excel Exhibition Centre, 5
minutes from the hotel at under 1 mile, and
Canary Wharf is just 5 minutes by tube.
The Olympic stadium for the 2012 Olympics is 2 mile to the North. Other nearby
attractions include the
O2 Millennium Dome (1 mile), Museum of the Docklands
(1.4 miles), Green Street Market (1.6 miles),
Cutty Sark Ship (2.3 miles),
National Maritime museum (2.3 miles) and the
Greenwich Observatory (2.5 miles).

For your comfort the public areas are all air-conditioned and have WIFI internet connectivity (charges apply). There is an area which is dedicated to business services which include computer hire, Copying, E-mail, Internet and fax (fee's apply). Three comfortable 'meet-smart' meeting rooms can accommodate up to 120 guests theatre style and make use of natural daylight. | Directions: Hotel is located on the A1011 which is just off the A13 East
India Dock Road/Newham Way. From the North head in on the A406 North Circular
Road till you see the signs for A13 and the City of London. From the east the
A13 links directly with the M25 motorway. From the West: Follow the M4/A4 into central London. At Hyde Park Corner (which is the large roundabout at the end of Hyde park on your left) take the 3rd exit onto the A302 Grosvenor Place. Follow this road past Victoria station on your right until you hit parliament Square and the houses of Parliament. Take the third exit and then first left onto the A3211 Victoria Embankment. This is the turn left just before Westminster Bridge. Keep going straight until you have Tower Bridge on your right. Keep going straight onto the A1023. Just before the Limehouse Link Tunnel and just after the Express Limehouse on your left, take the left turn on Butcher Row and then right turn onto the A13 Commercial Road. The as above. From the South head for Tower Bridge then signs for A13 East. |
