Wharf London is situated on a new development known as Canary Riverside
which Includes a 44,000 Sq ft spa and fitness facility,
restaurants and many luxury apartment blocks (some 350). The hotel enjoys
spectacular views out over the River Thames. Canary Wharf has become known as
London's second financial centre with the many financial institutions that have
their headquarters here and is rivalling the City of London for importance.
Access is very easy to the square mile (alternative name for the City of London
centre) via the nearby 'The Highway' which leads to Tower Hill. Nearby
attractions include the Museum of the Docklands (0.2 miles), Canary Wharf Tower (0.3
miles),
Cutty Sark (1.7 miles), National Maritime Museum (1.9 miles),
Design
museum (1.9 miles) and
St Katherine's Dock (2 miles).
Hotel:
The
hotel has an intimate and contemporary design, maintains
traditional standards and overlooks the
River Thames. There are 142 Rooms, including 14 Suites on 10
levels with a three storey lobby.
The Four Seasons has some of the largest rooms in London, modern and
contemporary in style. Standard rooms have views over canary Wharf and the City
and occupy levels two to four and are 37m
2. Superior
rooms occupy levels five to eight and so enjoy greater views over the City and
Canary Wharf, also 37m
2. Deluxe rooms take up levels two through to
eight and have views over the River Thames and are also 37m
2. There
are also a range of suites.
All rooms come with two-line speaker phones, data ports for PCs, and an in-room
safe large enough to hold a laptop computer, fully stocked private bar, in-room
movies and international TV channels on 42 inch flat screen TV, marble bathroom with a deep soaking tub,
separate shower stall, large vanity, shaving/make-up mirror and water closet.
Bedrooms have both wires and wireless internet access.
In August 2006 all hotel rooms were equipped by NXTV with a complete guest room
entertainment service, including high-definition video on demand, internet video
games, high speed internet access, and a customised guest interface.

Dining:
The hotels dining option is the Quadrato Restaurant located on the lobby level.
Dress requirement is described as casual and reservations are recommended. Here
the ambience is intimate but with an energetic feel and the setting is best
described as contemporary and stylish. The restaurant seats 100 and serves
modern Northern Italian
cuisine, prepared with the highest quality fresh ingredients. In the
evenings entertainment is provided by a piano player, and
outdoor seating for up to 35 guests is available in the summer.
The menu is varied with seasonal menus, weekly specials, innovative desserts and
a children's menu. On Sundays, the Tuscan Brunch offers an array of specialties
such as seafood, terrines, cheeses, roasts, homemade breads and creative
desserts. Every Saturday evening the restaurant features what it calls “Oceano”,
a night of seafood and live jazz. The restaurant provides a children's menu.

The hotels guests have private access to the Dove spa at the Virgin Active
Health Club next door. This features a 20 meter infinity edge swimming pool and
floodlight tennis courts (spa
treatments are extra). Spa treatments providing skin and body therapies, including
unique hydrotherapy treatments. (charges apply). Some of the spa therapies and
beauty treatments are available in-room by prior request.
The hotel also has its own onsite fitness room/gymnasium with 4,000 sq. foot of
space and accessible 24 hours.
