north of central London. This is an upmarket and well sought after area between
Belsize Park and Primrose Hill. Belsize Park has a large range of amenities
including a cinema and several bars along Haverstock Hill which serve the
largely residential area. Primrose Hill features a large open park which itself
is opposite Regents Park. Around one mile to the north finds Hampstead Village.
This is a chic shopping area and which is a popular venue at night thanks to the
many pubs and wine bars along its length. Around 0.8 miles to the north east is
Hampstead Heath, another large park area with outdoor bathing areas. Half a mile
to the west is Swiss Cottage. This marks the start of the long, busy and popular
shopping section of the Finchley Road. Includes the O2 centre with its cinema
and entertainment complex.
