The Heathrow Lodge Hotel

Introduction: Located on the Western side of the airport the Heathrow Lodge Hotel is close to terminal 5 in Longford Village. Pubs and small shops are located within the village of Longford. Local bus routes serve Slough and Hounslow. This end of the Bath Road is more secluded than the Dual Carriageway section where you will find most of the airport hotels. Right opposite the hotel is the Kings Arms pub (pictured above), a traditionally British type pub, while just a few yards further north along the road is the White Horse Pub. There is a McDonalds restaurant half a mile from the hotel (15 minutes walk) on the junction with the Colnbrook bypass. Other nearby attractions include the Airport Bowl (2.61 miles), Windsor Castle (5 miles), Thorpe park (5 miles), Legoland (6.7 miles), Hampton Court (8.4 miles) and Ascot Racecourse (9.3 miles).

The hotel is just minutes from the airport making it a convenient budget style accommodation for airport stays.
All the onsite bedrooms have a bathroom, Colour TV with Free Sky Sports & Film Channels, Tea & Coffee making facilities, direct dial telephone, central heating and double glazing.
Some budget priced rooms are located in nearby properties owned by the hotel and have shared facilities. Any rooms with shared facilities are clearly labelled as such when you obtain the list of rates. Offsite rooms all have a Colour TV, Tea & Coffee making facilities, hand basin in room, full central heating and double glazing.

Onsite in the conservatory restaurant the hotel serves a buffet breakfast, 07.00 till 09.00 (Monday - Friday). You can also purchase a packed breakfast all day 7 days a week.
The reception is open 24/7 and sells snacks and soft drinks. Wireless internet access can be picked up throughout the hotel (charge apply).

Please note to access the Heathrow Lodge hotel you must approach the Bath Road from the roundabout at the junction with Stanwell Moor Road by terminal 5 as access from the Colnbrook side is no entry by road.

The Heathrow Hoppa Bus H4 stops at the Thistle Heathrow which 600 yards north of the hotel on the same road and is another option. Cost £4 one way, £7 return (onboard £4.50 one way, £8 return) 
The 423 bus from Terminal 5 stops very close to the hotel and is part of the freeflow zone.
