Description: The Hilton Stansted Airport Hotel is a purpose built hotel that first opened in 1990. Located within the airports perimeter some 2.2 miles from the actual passenger terminal. This section of the airport grounds is in the south western corner and is to be found by the long stay car park. Its well signposted from the motorway or terminal so you wont miss it. The hotel has extensive grounds, some 3 acres, and a shuttle bus runs between the hotel and airport terminal. Central London is 29.4 miles from here measured in a straight line. The hotel is very close to the M11 motorway which also connects with the M25 making road links convenient from this location. The hotel is also convenient for Cambridge, East Anglia and Newmarket racecourse. Nearest attractions include Mountfitchet Castle (1.9 miles), Stansted Mountfitchet Windmill (1.9 miles) and Waytemore Castle (2.2 miles). Duxford air museum and Imperial war museum are some 18 miles away.

Bedrooms are bright, airy and contemporary in style with calming colours used alongside natural wood in the rooms decor. Standard rooms offer en-suite facilities, high speed internet connection (WIFI in some rooms), separate working area, desk, trouser press, hairdryer, tea and coffee tray, phone, data port, ironing board, cable flat screen 32" TV with in house movies, clock, sony playstation, live flight information, 8 channels, view bill and wake up facility. The hotel also offers deluxe a rooms and suites.

Diners are served by the 100 seat Aviator themed Amy's Restaurant. The restaurant offers a relaxing and informal atmosphere with an a la carte menu and an extensive international wine list and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Menu includes grilled dishes such as sirloin steak and lamb leg steak along with vegetarian options. Some evenings have themed nights.

Amy's bar has an intimate feel with soft lighting and a 60 seat capacity. Serves a good selection of international wines and Single malt Whiskeys. There is a selection of snacks available from the bar (includes classic Caesar salad or Hilton Burgers) where a television shows sports events and guests can relax in comfortable armchairs.

The 40 seat foyer located Café Cine serves speciality coffees, pastries and sandwiches as well as bagels and wraps in a modern and informal setting. Located in the reception foyer and open from 5 am till 5 pm.
 
The Hilton London Stansted also has its own Living health club onsite with a sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi, solarium, well equipped gymnasium, and heated indoor swimming pool. Children are only permitted before 18.00. The club itself is open from 06.30 till 22.00 Monday to Friday and 08.00 till 22.00 on Saturdays and Sundays. Qualified instructors are on hand.
For the business traveller the Hilton offers 16 meeting rooms and a dedicated business centre which is open weekdays 08.00 am till 19.00. The business centre has computers,  WIFI, printing, copy and fax services (chargeable). The largest meeting room has a capacity for up to 250 guests theatre style. All meeting rooms feature natural daylight and air-conditioning.

By Train to London Stansted: take courtesy bus from Airport Terminal.
Shuttle: The shuttle bus leaves from bay 11 at the bus/coach station 1 level down from the main terminal building. The bus leaves every 1/4 past and 1/4 to the hour from 04:00 until midnight. There is a small charge for this service. children under 16 years travel for free. Tickets can be purchased at the hotel only.
