| Introduction:
The Holiday Inn London
Camden Lock is located just off from Camden High Street.
This is a very busy area (though the hotel is in a relatively
quiet side street) with a host of amenities but most noted
for its thriving market and shops. This is also a popular area
as a night time spot with a famous night club and concert venue called KOKO
(formerly the Camden Palace) at the South end of the High Street. Less than 200
yards to the North on Chalk Farm Road is another famous entertainment and
theatre venue at the Roundhouse. The High Street and surrounding streets have
numerous pubs and bars. Also within walking distance
from the hotel is Primrose Hill (less than half a mile), which
is a large popular park which itself is opposite
Regents park, home to
London Zoo (0.6 miles). Transport links are good and
around Camden High Street you will easily find a London taxi to
hail as well as 4 train stations within 1 mile. Other attractions near
the hotel include the British Library (1.1 miles),
Petrie Egyptian Archaeology
Museum (1.2 miles) and
Madame Tussauds (1.2 miles). Hotel: A modern and contemporary hotel with scenic parks to the West and the bustling Camden Town to the East. The hotel actually overlooks the regents canal.
