Introduction: The Kings Cross Holiday Inn is a short distance from four mainline stations at St. Pancras and Kings Cross (0.5 miles), Euston (0.8 miles) and Farringdon (0.6 miles). Well located to be close to the City of London, the square Mile as its known (1.2 miles), with good access also into central London. There are many smaller shops and cafes in the vicinity, notably further down along Farringdon road and to the North along Euston Road around the Kings Cross Station, area while within half a mile is the major shopping area of Angel Islington. Here you will find a host of shops, bars, restaurants as a well as a market and cinema. If you'd rather head towards central London then Tottenham Court Road and Oxford street are just 1 mile away. Oxford Street is probably the number one shopping street for visitors too London. Its a long road with endless stores and boutiques and has the most dense shopping area in Europe. The hotels location tends to be quieter during weekends at its on the City side of the capital. The hotel makes a good location for anyone needing to get to both the City of London as well as the central areas. Nearby local attractions include Dickens House (0.2 miles), British Library (0.5 miles), Sir John Soames Museum (0.6 miles), British Museum (0.7 miles), Petrie Egyptian Archaeology Museum (0.9 miles) and the Museum of London (1 mile).

Carriages Brasserie is located on the ground floor and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Here the cuisine is European and Mediterranean food with dishes that include seafood, pasta, steak and vegetarian options. The restaurant is actually open all day for complete meals or just a coffee or tea.
The Rasa Restaurant is also located on the ground floor and and serves lunch and dinner. The menu is one of authentic Kerala/Indian cuisine and the food is freshly prepared onsite at the hotel.
Charings bar serves a wide range of drinks including cocktails as well as serving light snacks.
