Introduction: The Shaftesbury Premier London Hyde Park was
originally converted from a terrace of Victorian houses. The front facade
remains grade II listed. Located in a residential area of converted houses and
B&B accommodation. Short walk from Paddington Station which is home to the
Heathrow
Express train service. Just at the top of Westbourne Terrace if Westbourne
Grove where you will find a decent selection of smaller shops and some bars.
However slightly further to the east is Queensway which is the nearest major
shopping. Here you will find the covered Whitley's shopping centre along with an
ice skating rink and swimming pool among the shops and restaurants. Less than
1/3rd of a mile to the south is Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens. The area at
that point is known as Bayswater and offers good transport links as its a major
through road with several bus routes, taxis constantly passing along and tube
stops located along it.
