built hotel that opened in 2004. Located alongside the Royal Victoria Dock 150
meters from the ExCel Centre (West entrance), close to London City Airport and
shares the same building as the
Novotel ExCel. Within a
few minutes by road from Docklands/Canary Wharf this area gives access to east
London as well as into the City of London itself via the dual carriageway that
runs right through the Docklands towards Tower Bridge (Aspen Way, A1261). The
DLR network that
runs throughout the Docklands area gives access to the
O2 Arena (Millennium Dome)
within 2 stops.

The Ibis Docklands Excel is a modern built contemporary style budget hotel.
Room facilities at the Ibis London Docklands ExCel Hotel include wireless
internet connection, climate control/air cooling, direct dial telephone,

satellite TV and shower. Fifteen bedrooms are adapted for handicap

Directions: From the hotel, take A13
and then A117, follow the road signs to reach London City Airport. From central
London (from Aldgate) : take A13 and follow the signs for London City
Airport/Excel centre. From Tower Bridge take A1203 to 1261 (Aspen Way/Lower Le a
Crossing) via Limehouse Tunnel and follow signs for Excel Centre. From London
City Airport, take A112 west and then the A1020 "North Woolwich Road" and follow
signs for Excel exhibition centre.
