Built in 1970, the Imperial Hotel London
is situated on Russell Square. A very bust area with good local amenities while
being walking distance from of
Holborn and Covent Garden. Holborn is geared toward the business sector as it
boarders the City of London (square mile). However Covent Garden is one of the
most popular districts with central London, famous for its piazza with bars and
markets and for being part of London's theatreland. Russell Square is part of a
larger area known as Bloomsbury. For many years this has been a popular area for
budget priced hotels thanks to its close proximity to the major tourist areas
and good local amenities while being just outside the premium priced areas.
Russell square is a busy commuter route for London through
traffic and this means a black taxi will always be easy to find, with good bus
and tube links too. Nearest attractions include British Museum (0.2 miles),
House of Homosexual Culture (0.3 miles), Dickens House (0.4 miles), Sir John
Soames Museum (0.4 miles), Petrie Egyptian Archaeology Museum (0.5 miles),
Pollocks Toy Museum (0.5 miles), British Library (0.5 miles), Ben Uri Art
Society and London Jewish Museum of Art (0.6 miles) and the London Transport
