Name and branding changed from Jurys London Islington to Doubletree in August 2014. The branding change also included a star rating upgrade from 3 to 4 stars. Originally called the Jurys Inn London when first opened in 1998. Renovation project 2013/2014 at a cost of £12 million pounds to add an extension and a complete refurbishment. The extensions adds 143 bedrooms.
