The Jurys Inn Islington London is situated
just slightly to North East of central London and on the border
of the City of London. This makes this location ideal for
anyone needing access to both the financial centre in the City of
London (1 mile away) and the tourist areas of Central London (1.5 miles away)
(although the hotel is actually within neither area). Close by are Islington High Street and Upper
Street, thriving and popular shopping streets for bars, shops and cafes
and busy day and night. Within 150 yards of the hotel is Chapel Market which
sells mostly fruit and vegetable stalls though some stalls sell household goods
and budget priced clothing. Open daily its also notable for being home to one of
London's oldest pie and mash shops, M. Manze's, who have been around for over
100 years.
Pentonville road is a major road where
hailing a black taxi is no problem, its a connecting road between the City of London
and Kings Cross. Nearest places of interest include the Sadlers Wells Theatre
