Introduction: The K West Hotel London is located on the
Western borders of London and well located for giving access to the heart of
London and out to Heathrow Airport and the West of England. W14 is an area known
as West Kensington and is at the Gateway into London with the A40 to the north
and the A4 to the south. Both are major dual carriageways that bring traffic
into central London from places such as Heathrow airport and Oxford. Located
between Shepherds Bush and
Holland Park in
a relatively quiet residential street off from the main Shepherds Bush
Roundabout, a major junction and always busy. The location is also convenient
for Olympia Exhibition centre which is close by (0.5 miles). Holland Park, which
is a stroll away on the other side of Holland Park Road, is one of the most
sought after residential areas in London. Shepherds Bush is a busy Shopping
centre with its own market and is home to Westfield London (Europe's largest
inner-city mall) and the BBC studios. The hotel is also a short taxi ride from
Notting Hill to the east, King Street Hammersmith to the west or
Kensington High Street to the south, and which are all also thriving

When The K West Hotel and Spa first opened in December 2001 its innovative and
contemporary design was immediately rewarded by winning best hotel in London at
the 2002 theme awards. Its glass facade means the lobby and lounge area benefit
from a stream of natural daylight. The interiors are contemporary and with a
touch of chic. Walls of the lobby and hallways have small TV screens. A Hip
style hotel.
The bedrooms decor make use of brown//beige cream leathers, walnut and Suede's,
stainless steel and sandblasted Glass. In-room amenities include
air-conditioning, safe, tea/coffee maker, flat screen TV with cable channels,
DVD's, hi-fi, Mini Bar, Hair Dryer And Iron With Ironing Board. All rooms are
en-suite and have broadband internet hubs (charges).
Deluxe Rooms: (27 sq m / 290 sq ft). These rooms come with bathrobes
Executive Rooms: (33.5 sq m / 366 sq ft). Drinks cooler, individual
temperature control, superking bed or twins, sofa (playstation can be
requested). Upgraded bathrooms with limestone tiles, Philippe Starck fittings
and top brand toiletries.
Embassy Suites: (39.5 sq m / 430 sq ft). As executive rooms but larger.
Includes table for 6 and phone with a triple line.
K Suites: (55.9 sq m / 592 sq ft). These suites feature a luxurious decor
and a modern state-of-the-art design with glass walls. Extras include wool rugs,
Bose entertainment system, large screen TV in living room, extra TV in bedroom,
double-ended Philippe Starck bath, high pressure pulsating head oversized
showers big enough for two people and triple glazing.
Room service is available 24/7 for all bedrooms.
Dining:
Kanteen: This is the hotels restaurant. Modern setting with a creative
contemporary menu. The furnishings includes leather seats and works of art on
the walls (some available for purchase).
K Lounge and bar: Accessible 24/7, open plan with a relaxed atmosphere features
a modern fireplace along the rear wall. Saturday and Friday nights (22.00 till
02.00) a DJ plays music. Bar serving range of drinks and snacks.
On the 3rd floor is a function area called the 'Quiet Zone' is available for
hire and is suitable for 2 to 200 guests. Its also open for business guest use
at other times where computers and hardwired internet access (free) is available
along with BW printing.
WiFi internet access can be accessed in all parts of the hotel (charges apply).
Located on the ground floor of the K West Hotel is the holistic Asian themed K
Spa. Available to over 18s only are a huge range of ESPA, Ytsara, Germaine de
Cappucini, Crystal Clear and LCN treatments from the in-house therapists.

One of the few spas in the UK to have a double Therapy room (complete with its
own private sauna) So that friends and partners can enjoy side by side
Treatments. K Spa has a wet spa area, Londons first Snow Paradise, a
Hydrotherapy pool, experience showers, foot baths, sanarium and sauna, plus
towels, toiletries, hairdryers, individual lockers and fresh fruit.
Part of the Spa also includes a gymnasium fitted with high tech cardio machines
(with personal LCD screen), resistance equipment and free weights. There are
also fitness classes held which include yoga and palliates.
The light airy air-conditioned meeting rooms at the K West hotel can accommodate up to
55 guests in either boardroom or presentation style.
The hotel porter can look after your baggage should you require leaving them for
an amount of time.
