| Description:
The Kensington Rooms Hotel is
situated on the western border of central London between Earls
Court and South Kensington. Actually on the Cromwell Road which
is the A4 dual carriageway and the main road into and out of
London giving direct access out to Heathrow Airport and the the
West of England. Walking distance from shops and amenities on
both Earls Court Road and Gloucester Road and with a supermarket
opposite. Nearest attractions include Kensington Palace,
Victoria and Albert museum, Natural History and Science museums,
Hyde Park and Earls Court Exhibition centre. Popular shopping at
Knightsbridge and Kensington High Street is also close by. The hotel claims to offer guests a hip and contemporary hotel. The interior design is described as a modern approach that combines antique, original features and the contemporary in a multi-functional concept. Some of the furniture furniture is designed by John Michael. The hotel bedrooms are contemporary in style with quilts on the beds, giant cushions, Egyptian sheets, en-suite facilities with power shower/bath, robes and toiletries. The urban studio bedrooms have larger beds. The Town bedrooms have smaller beds than other rooms. Onsite the hotel has the 9 Bar and Restaurant. While the entrance is Victorian the interior is contemporary. Hotel guests can make use of the concession arranged between the hotel and the major fitness facility located opposite. There are meeting facilities available onsite that can accommodate up to 300 guests with state-of-the-art facilities and equipment. |
