shops, large and small and many aimed specifically at the London tourist. Just
the other side of Oxford Street is Mayfair, the most expensive street on a
monopoly board and actually one of the most sought after areas for residences
and offices in the country. Only the very wealthy can afford to live there and
its home to the exclusive shopping street of Bond Street. If your looking for
the finest in jewellery or designer labels then Bond Street is the place to be.
300 yards north of the hotel is the major dual carriageway of the Marylebone
Road which is part of the A40. This takes traffic into and out of west London
and links up with the M25 motorway and out to the West of England and places
such as Oxford.
