| Description:
The Lincoln House Hotel is located in Marylebone, between Marble Arch. Edgware
Road and the Marylebone Road. Actually on Gloucester Place which runs parallel
with Baker Street. Famous for the fictional home of Sherlock Holmes, Baker
Street also marks the start of the West End of London. Its a long road with
shops, bars, restaurants and even a casino. If your travelling from Luton the
South end of Baker Street is the drop off point for the
Easybus coaches. To
the South of Gloucester Place is the exclusive
Mayfair area where most of
London' luxury Hotels are based. To the South West of the hotel at just one
third of a mile is the wonderful Hyde Park
with its 350 acres of open space, horse riding, boating and many more things to
do for the kids and whole family. The south end of baker Street is also the
junction with Oxford Street, yet
another world famous road with one of the largest densities of shopping of
anywhere in the world. Other nearby attractions include

(1.2 miles). The Hotel was originally built at the end of the 18th Century, in the time of king George III, and offers modern comforts while retaining its Georgian character and ambience. The Hotel was also the winner of the Westminster in Bloom Award 2002, a competition for the outstanding floral display from a small hotel. The communal areas have a nautical theme look which is highly appreciated by the hotel guests giving the feel of being inside a ships cabin. Rooms are en-suite (consist of shower, toilet & wash basin) and offer satellite TV, direct dial telephone, hair dryer, trouser press, tea & coffee facilities and WIFI internet access. Larger rooms are also equipped with a silent fridge. The hotel additionally offers a room service.
