The Lonsdale Hotel Bloomsbury is
a privately owned Bed and Breakfast Georgian style Hotel. The
Lonsdale Hotel occupies in part the site of the old Southampton House laid out
in the early 1600's, renamed Bedford House in 1734 when it was occupied by the
Duke of Bedford. Situated by Russell square where public transport links are
good, as well as being a short distance from tourist attractions such as the
British Museum and Covent Garden. Just 0.4 miles from Oxford Street, 0.6 miles
from Covent Garden and 0.7 miles from Leicester Square. The rooms, many of which are available with private en-suite shower / wc, all have washing facilities, colour television, hospitality trays with tea and coffee, direct dial international telephone. The hotel serves a full English Breakfast in the breakfast room, and the reception is manned 24 hours. The hotel also has a guests sitting room. |
