Introduction: The Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel is centrally
located in the upmarket and exclusive area of Belgravia, a short walk from
Sloane Street. Just on the edge of Lowndes square which although is used a cut
through is relatively quiet compared to the major roads that surround it. Sloane
Street has a wealth of high fashion shopping as does Knightsbridge which also a
short walk away. Perhaps best known for
Harrods,
Knightsbridge also has a host of bars, cafes and chic shopping. Walking distance
to
Hyde Park/Kensington gardens (0.2
miles) where you can easily spend the whole day in good weather as there's so
much to see and do. Slightly further away is
Kings Road
Chelsea (0.4 miles) which has even greater choice for the upmarket shopper
as well as more traditional stores. Victoria station is just over half a mile
way and offers a direct train service to Gatwick Airport (Gatwick Express). All

A boutique townhouse style luxury hotel with an enduring intimate appeal. The
Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel has an eclectic mix of minimalist chic and elegance.
The hotel bedrooms are fully air-conditioned (individually controlled) and are
contemporary in style. The en-suite facilities include bathrooms finished in
marble (plus robes, scales and toiletries). In-room amenities include hairdryer,
dual line direct dial telephone with voicemail and data port, Plasma TV with
cable and pay-per-view films, WiFi high speed internet access, safe, minibar,
desk, tea and coffeemaker (Nespresso machine) and radio (with ipod dock).
Deluxe rooms are larger than standard rooms and come with the benefit of a
balcony and free wireless internet access.
Executive Rooms have a light and tranquil decor. They are located on the top
floors of the hotel and have views of Lowndes Square or the Halkin Arcade.
Executive rooms feature a private balcony.
Junior suites are larger than deluxe rooms and have a lounge for extra
living space, while some of the bathroom have bidets. Executive suites are
larger again than the junior suites and some have a balcony.
The luxury suites
are a little larger than executives suites.

Dining Option:
Onsite is the
Mimosa Bar and restaurant. The style is contemporary and
chic and they are located adjacent to each other on the ground floor.
The 50 seat capacity restaurant serves an a la carte menu of
British Classics inspired cuisine using fresh ingredients in a vibrant
atmosphere. Diners can eat
their meals on the terrace (12 seats, open in suitable weather) and choose one
of the fine wines served with your meal. Breakfast gives you a choice of
choosing from the extensive buffet or if you prefer a full English breakfast.
Options also include a children's menu.

The Bar is an intimate setting with stylish modern decor. Along with the
range of alcoholic drinks the bar also serves coffee and snacks right through
the day. Also serves ladies lunches and six 'o' clock cocktails.

The Terrace: 48 seat capacity. Set against a setting of large umbrellas
and outdoor heaters this cosmopolitan restaurant serves light dishes that can be
made and served in a short time frame. Many dishes are served straight from the
barbeque.
Opens in the Spring and closed in the Autumn.

The Jumeirah Lowndes hotel has one meeting/conference room with a capacity for 30 guests
reception style. Facilities include a large plasma screen (61''), DVD player, AV
equipment and internet access.
For spar and health club facilities you can make use of the services in the
adjacent sister hotel, Jumeirah Carlton Tower Hotel. There facilities include a
gymnasium, spa, 20 meter indoor swimming pool, steam room and sauna and are
complimentary for guests.

In November 2006 the hotel re-opened after a nine month closure for a multi
million pound refurbishment program. Part of the refurbishment included a
dedicated all-suite sixth floor, some of which feature balconies with views
across Belgravia.
