The Malmaison London Hotel is located in the City of London (financial
area) in the area of Clerkenwell. This is around a 15 minutes taxi ride from the
main tourist areas of London. The City of London does however have its own
amenities and places on interest, although it tends to be quieter on weekends
when workers head out of London. Right next door to the hotel is the Fox and
Anchor pub and restaurant. There is some shopping and other Amenities
in the
surrounding areas and the
Barbican Centre is just a third of a mile away.

The restaurant features mood enhancing lighting and a lively atmosphere. The original vaults have been opened up to create intimate dining spaces. The menu uses locally sourced ingredients including local ales. Open: 07.00 till 10.00 (weekends 08.00 till 10.30), noon till 14.30 (closed Saturday), 18.00 till 22.30. Drink: The hotel also has it own stylish and atmospheric bar making for an intimate venue. here you will find dark wood tables and deep sofas while the bar itself has a zinc top. Serves a full range of drinks such as cocktails, Champagnes, wines and beers. Also serves light meals. Open: 11.00 till 23.00 (Sunday Noon till 23.00). On the ground floor is the hotels fitness Gym called the Gymtonic where you will find cardio and resistance machines along with free weights. Open: 06.30 till 21.00 (weekends 08.00 till 20.00). Malmaison has meeting facilities for gatherings of up to 30 delegates. Hotel offers same day laundry. |
